As a caregiver, the daily routine of caring for a loved one with dementia can be a full-time job and can bring stress to daily life. As a senior, the day to day tasks of meal preparation, cleaning and transportation can quickly become daunting. Short-term respite care can help.
What some seniors and caregivers may not realize is that short-term (or respite) stay options are available at our community. As a caretaker it can be difficult to find time for your own physical and emotional needs. However, your well-being is just as important as your loved one.

Ormond Manor Respite Care Options and Qualifications
As a Memory Care Assisted Living Facility, we offer the highest personal care to our residents in order to tend to their individual needs on a one on one basis. Our respite residents can expect the same level of care once they are our guest here. All respite care prospects must meet admittance guidelines regarding healthcare and daily living assistance needs as any full time resident. There are a couple of state regulation requirements that must be met to be eligible for residing here even on a short term/temporary basis.

We require respite stays to be no less than two weeks, but exceptions can be made on a case by case basis for things such as hurricane safety, personal injury/recovery time for caregivers, or other circumstances. Please let us know what your needs are and we will try to accommodate based on availability and staffing levels. Our respite rates are comparable to Florida vacation hotel room rates but we offer so much more than just a room.
